Donate to Ukraine

This blog post is for anyone who wanted a way to help Ukraine. There are several organizations and websites to look at. No matter if you are looking to donate or you are looking for a reliable site to add to your own site in support. Provided by wix, here are the ones I would suggest.

Launched in 2014, this group is among the biggest to provide ongoing support to Ukraine. This shows you how long others have seen Russia as a threat. They are a transparent organization, which means the foundation has open reporting. When you click on this section it opens an excel word document. They collect money from all over the world. If you want to donate to them you can click on the picture above or google it if you'd prefer.

How Come Back Alive Helps

Our fund supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine through financing purely defence initiatives. Since 2014 we have provided around 1000 thermal imagers and over 250 UAVs. In addition to the material support, we increased technological capabilities of the Army through providing 1,500 tablets with Armor software aimed at stopping the artillery. Come Back Alive also organizes trainings to equip our military with crucial skills. In 2015 we launched trainings for medical workers, artillerists, snipers, minesweepers, and defence analysts. After coming back from the front line, our military members have access to sport rehabilitation and veteran business opportunities. Our organization does not use funds for purchasing arms. Our mission is limited to supplying technology, trainings, and accouterments to help save lives of Ukrainians and help our warriors defend Ukraine.

BOUT NOVA UKRAINE

Nova Ukraine is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit organization (EIN 465335435) dedicated to raising awareness about Ukraine in the US and throughout the world and providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine. We work closely with non-profits and volunteers focused on helping Ukraine. We organize fundraisers, meetings with Ukrainian famous people, round tables discussions dedicated to Ukraine and Ukrainian culture and participate in various cultural events. Since December 2013 we have collected over $3.5M in donations.

MISSION STATEMENT

1. Provide humanitarian aid to vulnerable groups and individuals in Ukraine. 2. Raise awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. 3. Support Ukraine in its effort to build a strong civil society, to reform its educational system, and to eliminate corruption.

By clicking on the picture of the ICRC, it will bring you to the donation page where you can donate monthly or a one time donation. They are also world wide as they have several other languages on their site including French, German, Italian, and more. They also have the tax code reduction for United States and Switzerland.

Under How your donation will help people in Ukraine and the surrounding countries:

The International Committee of the Red Cross - together with its partners in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement – remains active in Ukraine, saving and protecting the lives of victims of armed conflict and violence. Our neutral and impartial humanitarian action supports the most vulnerable people: humanitarian needs are enormous, but together we can address them. Your donation will make a huge difference to families in need right now.

What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Razom for Ukraine, Inc. (“Razom") was born in January 2014, out of a fervent desire to advance the goals of Ukraine's modern citizenry, and finally bring a geopolitically, economically and culturally significant Eastern European country out of its murky Soviet past. The path from kleptocracy to democracy, however, still remains obstructed by the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia, a Russian-funded invasion of eastern Ukraine in Donas that has lead to entrenched war and endemic corruption within political and economic spheres of society. For those fighting, literally and figuratively in post-Maidan Ukraine, slow systemic change and outside aggression has lead to fatigue and increased ambivalence within the populace, threatening to undo the momentum created by the Revolution of Dignity. Razom's work has never been more relevant.

Again if you want to donate click on the picture above.

This one is indeed an actual bank asking for money for the troops. So the National Bank of Ukraine opened an account for humanitarian effort donations from around the world.

Here's their statement:

The account is meant for charity contributions from Ukraine and from abroad. The Ministry of Social Policy will channel the raised funds to support Ukraine’s citizens severely affected by the war.

“Russian aggression deprived thousands of Ukrainians of their home, money, clothes, food, and other basic things. However, Ukraine and the rest of the world would not leave them alone with their grief. Financial support keeps coming both from the citizens of our country and from abroad. To streamline the inflows of funds as humanitarian aid to Ukrainians affected by the war, the NBU has opened an account for the Ministry of Social Policy to accumulate charitable contributions for social needs in wartime. Unlike the special account that has been opened to finance the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, money from this account will be used to help those hardest-hit by the war with Russia,” - said the NBU Governor Kyrylo Shevchenko.

Money transferred to this account will be used by the Ministry of Social Policy:

  • to provide food and shelter for refugees and citizens that have been displaced due to military conflict

  • to provide clothing, shoes, and medicine for them

  • to buy staple goods for the population

  • to pay out one-off financial aid and to meet other essential needs of the population.

Account details of the Ministry of Social Policy are below: UA823000010000032302338301027.

This account accepts multiple currencies. It has been established and opened to receive transfers from international partners and donors both in foreign currency (U.S. dollars, euros, British pounds) and from Ukrainian business and citizens in hryvnias.

If necessary, the NBU will update the payment details for charitable assistance for humanitarian purposes.

Support Ukraine, help Ukrainians!

Again please do your own research, these are suggestions only. All badges or Icons from the different organizations will have a link attached to the badges that will take you straight to a donate page. My icon on my website will take you straight to Come Back Alive's website. If you want to do you're own research I highly recommend it, but here are at least a few you can choose from that will help Ukraine.

Please keep in mind that our freedoms are not free, there is a price.

We did not get this peace of land by standing down.

Now Ukraine is facing what our soldiers have faced many times as they fight for the freedom of their country. Stand by them. Even if all you can do is share this page to others, then share it.

In a world where having an opinion that differs from the current ideologies, traffic helps me stay independent through ads shown on my site. If you want to make a donation go my website where you will see a donate button through Paypal. Thank you to all of my current subscribers and affiliates for the support as I work to bring you new perspectives, or even just a fun read. Stay tuned for the next blog tomorrow!
